David Selna is a Vice President at Morley Builders, one of the largest Southern California-based general contractors. David joined the Morley team in 1988; since then, he has repeatedly delivered complex and innovative projects on-time and within budget, including the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, the Santa Monica Main Public Library, and the Big Blue Bus Facility Expansion. His areas of expertise include design-build project delivery, sustainable construction, and large-scale civic projects. David takes a proactive and creative approach in managing the design and construction of buildings and facilities that benefit local communities, which is evident in the high quality and durability of his projects. His projects have won awards from organizations including the national and local chapters of the American Institute of Architects, Structural Engineers Association of California, American Concrete Institute, American Society of Civil Engineers, as well as local organizations such as the Los Angeles Business Council, Southern California Development Forum, and California Construction.
David earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. He also completed the Executive Program at UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management. He is married with one son and lives in Pacific Palisades.
