Dr. Eric Hoek, Professor (on leave) in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at UCLA, has been recognized by WaterWorld Magazine as one of “Top 25 Leaders in Water”. Professor Hoek was listed #4 among an amazing group of innovators throughout the water industry; he is currently on leave from UCLA as the Co-Founder and CEO of Water Planet, US. He also recently embarked on a five-year collaboration with Global Classrooms for Peace to improve sanitation and water issues for villages and settlements on remote islands of Fiji.
