GEOTECHNICAL
ENGINEERING:
The UCLA Civil and Environmental
Engineering Department invites applications for a tenured or tenure-track
faculty position in Geotechnical Engineering beginning Fall 2003.
Applicants with a wide array of research interests and expertise,
including geo-environmental engineering, are encouraged to apply.
Preference will be given to outstanding senior applicants at the
Professor level and junior applicants at the Assistant Professor
level. Exceptionally qualified senior applicants will be considered
for an endowed chair. The successful candidate must hold an earned
doctoral degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Geotechnical
Engineering. The candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate
courses in Geotechnical Engineering, and will be expected to develop
and sustain an extramurally sponsored research program. Applicants
