Alex Polasko, PhD Student in Environmental Engineering under advisement of Dr. Shaily Mahendra, earned first place in the student presentation competition at the Emerging Contaminants Summit in Colorado.
The Emerging Contaminants Summit focuses on the latest developments in the detection, fate and transport, risk assessment, treatment and regulation of emerging contaminants. Presentations were judged on verbal presentation, research and overall poster design.
