“This year marks a record number of UCLA attendees since COVID-19 with 107 students registered for the competition. Our chapter entered 10 technical projects and took part in all 8 non-technical events. Impressively, five of our projects placed in the top three of their respective competitions, and nine out of ten ranked in the top half overall. Our collective efforts earned UCLA an outstanding 2nd place in the overall competition.

We are so incredibly proud of our hardworking project managers and competition team members, whose dedication led to a podium placement and proudly represented our school and civil engineering department. We want to say thank you to our advisors, Sanjay Mohanty, Dr. William Goodin, Benjamin Baker, and Mahsa Sheykhsoltan for everyone’s support throughout this year and attendance at our competition.” – ASCE at UCLA
