Javier Alan Quezada Renteria, a postdoctoral scholar mentored by civil and environmental engineering professor Eric Hoek, was awarded the Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellowship for the upcoming school year.

In his research, Quezada focuses on how electrochemically modified materials affect other materials, like carbon, steel, and polymeric films. He is also exploring how electrochemistry can benefit the environment.

Congratulations!
