We are proud to announce that Professor John Wallace has received the Delmar L. Bloem Distinguished Service Award from the American Concrete Institute Board of Direction.
This distinguished honor recognizes exceptional service and leadership within ACI and was awarded to Prof. Wallace specifically “for outstanding contributions to ACI Committee 318, Structural Concrete Building Code.” The award highlights Prof. Wallace’s significant impact on advancing structural concrete standards and contributing to the development of building code practices that influence the engineering profession.
The formal announcement of the award took place during the Workshop for Technical Committee Chairs on Monday, March 30 as part of the ACI Spring 2026 Concrete Convention.
