For the past two years, CEE Professor Henry Burton has served as a member of a 12-person committee appointed by the National Academies of Science Engineering and Medicine (NASEM) to develop a consensus study report on “Investing in Transportation Resilience”. The committee also detailed the benefits and costs of various approaches, with recommendations for the types of high-quality data that can be used to assess the viability of each solution.
