Several students from UCLA’s Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) department were recognized for their academic excellence and leadership at the American Society of Civil Engineers Los Angeles Younger Member Forum (ASCE LA YMF) scholarship awards on February 13, 2026. The American Society of Civil Engineers Los Angeles Younger Member Forum (ASCE LA YMF) works to inspire students of all ages to become the future leaders of Los Angeles by exposing them to the many career pathways and professional opportunities within the field of civil engineering. The scholarships were presented during the group’s annual Student Night and Job Fair, held at the Taglyan Complex in Hollywood.
The following UCLA CEE students received scholarships:
- Erica Pham – YMF Dr. Bill Goodin Outstanding Student Mentor Award
- Sage Smith – YMF Dr. Bill Goodin Outstanding Student Mentor Award
- Kim Vu – MLAB Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award
- Catherine Wang – MLAB Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award
- Daisy Mugodzeri – Le Val Lund Memorial Graduate Student Award
- Budhaditya (Bradley) De – LA Section Outstanding Graduate Student Award
These honors reflect the exceptional talent, leadership, and commitment of UCLA CEE students within the civil engineering community. Congratulations to all of this year’s scholarship recipients on this well-deserved recognition!
