Kevin Clack, a Ph.D. student advised by professor Eric Hoek, has been recognized by the National Alliance for Water Innovation (NAWI) as their NextGen Member of the Month. This program supports the development of early-career members of the NAWI Alliance and aims to have a domestic workforce that would be able to spearhead future research and development in the water-energy sector.

According to Clack, “We don’t need to be engineers or climate scientists to reduce our impact on the climate; we can all take opportunities to learn about our societal and individual impacts on the climate and build intuition to examine how our personal choices will impact our environment.”

Congratulations!
