Onja Davidson Raoelison, a Ph.D. student advised by assistant professor Sanjay Mohanty, is one of the recipients of the 2022 American Water Works Association (AWWA) Academic Scholarships for Water Studies.
Raoelison receives the Arcadis Scholarship, a $5,000 award that aims to assist graduate students from underrepresented racial and ethnic minority groups in the STEM field. By giving this award, AWWA recognizes Raoelison’s leadership potential in the industry.
The AWWA is an international organization dedicated to the effective management of water. With 51,000 members all over the world, AWWA is the largest organization of water supply professionals.
