Jishan Wu, a UCLA Samueli graduate student mentored by civil and environmental engineering professor Eric Hoek, was presented the 2023 North American Membrane Society (NAMS) Student Fellowship Award.

The fellowship awards are presented every year to outstanding graduate students in the membrane science and technology field. The awardees receive $500, free registration to the 2023 NAMS Meeting in Alabama, free one-year membership in NAMS, and a commemorative plaque.

The professional group NAMS promotes all aspects of membrane science and technology. A pioneer in its field, the society focuses on fundamental studies of membrane material science, and the application and development of these processes.

Congratulations!
