Prof Woody Ju Appointed Editor-In-Chief of International Journal of Damage Mechanics

Professor Jiann-Wen ‘Woody’ Ju was recently appointed as the new Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Damage Mechanics (IJDM) on July 1, 2015. The IJDM, established by Sage Publications in 1991, is published 8 times per year by Sage Publications in London, UK and is the leading premier international journal in the fields of damage mechanics, fracture mechanics and failure mechanics. The Impact Factor of the IJDM has been around 1.73. This new Editor-in-Chief appointment is permanent in nature. This new appointment brings further academic prestige to the UCLA Civil and Environmental Engineering department.
