Seema Barua, BS ‘14, MS ‘15 and Maxwell Armenta, BS ‘17 will be receiving awards at the annual Region 9 California Infrastructure Symposium of the ASCE. The symposium will be held this coming April 22nd in San Francisco, CA.
Armenta will be awarded as the Outstanding Civil Engineer in Community Service. Barua is receiving the Outstanding Younger Civil Engineer award. Both have previously received recognitions from the ASCE.
Since its inception in 1852, the ASCE has recognized exceptional members whose contributions make lasting improvements to society.
