Abstract
For more than 80 years, Metropolitan has been Southern California’s high quality and reliable water supplier. From the mountains of the Upper Colorado River Basin and California’s Sierra Nevada, a network of aqueducts, reservoirs, and pipelines transport water to Southern California. This seminar will explore the complexities of delivering water from multiple sources. Issues such as low supply, high supply, timing of demand, infrastructure issues, and water quality constituents and emergent contaminants will be covered.
